Serrapeptase Enzyme

Our body fights diseases and illnesses through our white blood cells. When you become ill, the body responses by producing its own natural defense system to respond to inflammation. This will protect the body from invading viruses, organisms and illnesses.

Inflammation often causes a number of unwanted side effects such as toxins, scar tissue, blood clots and cysts as well as mucus and arterial plaque. Scientists have been finding solutions for years to put a stopper to these problems by searching for a side-effect, free and natural alternative solution instead of using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents (NSAIDs) which is commonly administered for circumstances such as the above mentioned.

Twenty five years ago in Asia, a team of Japanese scientists found a breakthrough in medicinal developments. They successfully isolated a friendly bacteria found in the gut of silkworms which are naturally used by the worms to break free from its cocoon when it has evolved into a butterfly. The bacteria were found to secrete an enzyme named Serrapeptase. This enzyme was secreted through the silk worm’s saliva that melted off the cocoon enabling the butterfly to escape.

Scientists found that the Serrapeptase enzyme literally ate away the dead tissue of the cocoon. Soon enough, scientists applied this same discovery into the benefit of human medication. Serrapeptase in its commercial form is used to break down protein from toxins, inflammation and dead tissue found in the human body. Being a proteolytic enzyme, Serrapeptase does not digest living tissue and it has no side effects on healthy tissue and cells.

Serrapeptase is widely used in Asia to treat a wide range of conditions which includes inflammation, including arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, cystitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, edema, fibrocystic breast disease, lupus, migraines and sinusitis. Serrapeptase is now synthetically made in laboratories for commercial use which is a safe, natural and affordable alternative to potentially harmful drugs.

Thanks to the amazing silkworm, Mother Nature has once again provided relief for sufferers of inflammatory diseases. The serrapeptase enzyme could be the answer to many pains and illness, heart and artery disease and other medical conditions that have affected millions of people all throughout the world.

Doctors in Asia and Europe consider serrapeptase as the first choice in treating arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis because of its anti-inflammatory benefits and pain blocking abilities. Further studies on Serrapeptase have shown that its anti-inflammatory benefits can play a role in decreasing symptoms of chronic sinusitis, fibroid breast disease, post-operative swelling/pain, edema, and some problems associated with ear, nose and throat infection effectively.

Serrapeptase has also shown effective and positive results on heart and vascular related disease. Over years, with poor diet and not enough exercise, plaque builds up in the inner lining of the arteries from excess of fatty substances, calcium and cholesterol. This build up eventually causes blockage which unfortunately leads to life threatening diseases such as arteriosclerosis thus increasing the risks of heart attacks and strokes.

Research has shown that Serrapeptase has the ability to prevent and even breakdown the build-up lining in the arteries and positively reducing the risk of heart related risks to the body.
